Service Coordinator

Memphis, TN
Full Time
Mid Level

Job Overview

Memphis Ice is looking for a Service Coordinator to support our field service team. This role is focused on learning service dispatch, technician communication, and service workflow coordination. You’ll also assist with inbound calls and job booking as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow into dispatch or service coordination within a field service environment.

What Makes Us Great

Memphis Ice isn’t a call-center environment — it’s a hands-on service operation where teamwork actually matters. You’ll work closely with technicians, service coordinators, and customers to keep things moving and solve real-world problems every day.

  • We’re a tight-knit team that communicates, helps each other out, and gets things done
  • You’ll learn how a real field service operation works from the inside — not just answer phones
  • No two days are the same, and you won’t be stuck doing “busy work”
  • We believe in training, growth, and promoting from within
  • This is a great role for someone who wants more than “just a CSR job” and is interested in operations, logistics, and coordination

Compensation

  • The initial pay range for this role is $45,000 - $65,000
  • Total pay is a combination of base salary, team monthly performance bonuses and discretionary holiday bonuses

Benefits

  • Health, dental, vision and life insurance, 90% company funded
  • HSA account with $3,000 contributed by the company annually
  • 401K retirement plan with 4% company match
  • Short term and long term disability insurance
  • Aflac supplemental insurance
  • Cell phone allowance
  • 8 paid holidays per year
  • 12-17 days of PTO per year depending on tenure

Location

  • This role is intended for full-time in office in Memphis, TN.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate service schedules and communicate with field technicians
  • Manage inbound customer requests via email and chat
  • Follow up on unsold estimates and open service items
  • Keep job statuses, notes, and schedules accurate and up to date
  • Support preventative maintenance scheduling
  • Assist with answering inbound calls and booking service jobs when needed

What You’ll Be Learning

  • Hands-on training in service dispatch and technician coordination
  • Learn how to prioritize jobs and support a busy service schedule
  • Cross-training in customer service and scheduling workflows
  • Clear growth path into Dispatcher or Service Coordinator roles

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking
  • Ability to work with both customers and technicians
  • Comfortable using phones, email, chat, and scheduling software
  • Interest in service operations, logistics, or coordination roles
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

If you like staying organized, talking to people, and being part of a team that keeps technicians rolling and customers happy, you’ll fit right in here.
